I am a dedicated endurance athlete with over a decade of experience as a competitive cyclist and coach. I am involved in all facets of the sport: directing races, founding race teams, organizing events, and personally competing at all levels. I have raced as a Category 1 Mountain bike racer and Category 3 Road racer. I have participated in most sanctioned cycling races held across Montana and understand the training it takes to tackle a cold and mountainous environment. I have been fortunate to be coached by elite-level coaches and physical trainers. So I know what it's like to be on the receiving end of training. I currently compete in marathon mountain bike races and masters-level road/gravel races.
As a USAC-certified coach, my passion is sharing what I learn from my athletes to help them achieve their goals. As a racer himself, I am intimately acquainted with what it takes to be successful at any level. I know what it’s like to balance family, work, life, and training. I personally work closely with all of his athletes to ensure that the training they receive fits into their lives and personal goals. I believe face-to-face interaction and continuous communication are what sets me apart from other coaches.
I understand the power of data-driven decision making whether in business or in athletic training. My education and experience are in system analytics. Whether it’s Training Peaks, power meters, heart rate monitors, or RPE (relative perceived exertion), I use these varieties of tools to analyze each athlete’s progress individually. By understanding the data, and knowing how to apply it, every athlete receives a truly individualized approach.
I focus on strength training that helps you become a better athlete for outdoor pursuits. Whether, camping, fishing, hunting, cycling, skiing, or hiking, my programs focus on the core muscle groups that help you to perform at your best. All of my programs are evidence-based, and I am very articulate in ensuring and proving results to my clients. Your success is my success; you pay for what you get with me. Therefore, I will apply my direct experience and education to you. I pride myself in only training what has worked for my athletes and me.
I have worked in several gyms and as an associate coach with other coaching companies. My prices are fair and comparatively inexpensive compared to the prices of gyms and other coaches charging their clients. I have low overhead costs because I am an independent trainer with my own facility and no employees. My prices are fair, and I give you 100% quality. If you don’t like me, there is no obligation. Compared to all the other expenses we incur, personal training/coaching is very affordable and a big investment in your health. My motto is that health is your wealth, so take care of it and make it worth the money you invest.

Scheduling is something that we will have to discuss on our first call. Alignment of schedule and showing up for all sessions will be a priority. Spin Doctors has many options available, and my job is to help you fit training into your life, not your life into training.
